My grandfather, Pvt Frank Talley, 115 Field Artillery, 1st Tennessee Infantry Division, Camp Sevier, SC in 1917, just before shipping out to Franceicon. Mr Talley lied to the Army and told them he knew all about mules, because he didn't want to be in the infantry. Mr Talley passed away in 1964 in Greenwood, MS and is buried in the National Cemetery in Memphis. Mr Talley was born in Bridgeport, Al but moved to Memphis. He worked as a steamfitter till he retired.
