Bausch & Lomb 6X30 Military Binoculars

I just thought I'd share some pics of my latest acquisition. At an online estate auction, I spotted these binos. I was hoping they'd have the graticle but not so. On a good note, they're stamped with the "C-Broad Arrow" denoting Canadian military issue. Overall, they're in pretty good shape, given their age. I think they're WWI issue but they could be WWII. One thing I hadn't seen before is a small arm at the front and a knurled knob so that the distance between the barrels can be locked so that the user has them set for his eyes without having to re-adjust each time they're put away and then used again. The only negatives I've been able to see so far is the fact that the left ocular won't turn. It may have something broken inside jamming it and preventing it from turning, and there's a half-moon "halo" at the edge of the objectives lenses. Since there's no signs of drop damage, it may be that the adhesive bonding the glass pieces may be deteriorating. It doesn't affect the clarity of lenses from the user end. From what I've been able to learn thus far, Canadian marked are the scarcest of the encountered ones, most common being U.S. followed by England. Anyway, a nice piece of military history.
