Sorry to strike a sombre note but here goes. I have had to return prematurely from SA to UK today. I am coming out of retirement and returning to work. I used [till 2019] to work in a very relevant field. I start on the covid unit at my local hospital on Monday. The situation is poor and worsening rapidly.
Please: if any of you are over 70, or younger have underlying BP or other illness; and if there are cases anywhere in your country, I advise you to self isolate immediately and take this very seriously indeed. It's all about prevention at this stage. Try to delay getting your dose of this until treatment has come down the line, which it rapidly is.
Weeks of delay may make all the difference to you and your loved ones.
I can tell you: "this is not a drill".
