    Mystery Winged Badge

Is anyone able to tell me the origin and exactly what this badge is for, please? It was sold to me as WW2 Germanicon but I wasn't convinced that it was before I purchased it and am still not because it has no swastika incorporated into it. While it could be German it could have also have originated from somewhere else.. I purchased it because it looked interesting and it was reasonably priced.

As can be seen it appears to be a combination of a wing or, perhaps, a bird and a wheel.

    Many thanks for any help.
