I think that some of Orwell's predictions were frighteningly accurate.

I'm thinking things such as being "asked" by one's employer to be "chipped".

One can imagine some of the responses that a "company chip inserter" may get from employees when he/she says, to employees, "I'm sorry to bother you but I just need to install this chip into you. It won't take a minute.".
