Was not able to stock up on my preferred powder H4895 but have gotten a few others before it all became hard to get and over priced . One was BL-C2 and I made some test loads for my Lee Enfield Longbranch Mk4 No1 and it shot very well . Today I took my 1905 Ross Rifle in 303 Brit out expecting same results because I had been using same load in both with H4895 and getting nice results but it was not there . Is it the twist rate or burn rate with the BL-C2 or both doing it ? I will make up some more test loads and hopefully the weather will be good enough to get back out to shoot this week . Just when you say "I is going to be easy" you jinx yourself !!!!!! Anyone else get themselves set up like this were same load/powder/bullet shooting good in a few rifles but with a different powder you have to use different loads for them ?
