I'm tempted to give it a go

I recently was FORCED to extend a somewhat rare rifle stock that had been cut and then even the recoil pad was gone. Cut down for a woman or kid...I needed almost two inches to bring it back to 13 1/4" LOP. I had no choice but do an extension which turned out OK. You might do yours so you have a handle on how it goes, sometime you may NEED to do one. This would be good practice.
