    "almost" a 1%-er

Ishapore resumed P1907 bayonet production in Sept. 1939 per the books and between Sept '39 and March '40 only 220 were produced. Obviously, the survival rate is low on these early WW II examples so I was surprised when one came up for auction last week. The better surprise is no one bid against me so now I have a Jan and Feb 1940 example giving me 0.91%

I still have never seen or heard of a 1939 dated example, the most commonly found example is 4/41. Does anyone have a '39??
