I guess I must have missed something here, there have been hundreds and thousands in surplus. Whole regiments issued, that's not the TO and E for the units. They have used them continuously and we did too. Ours started more in Somalia and moved into Afghanistan...very minor by comparison. But lots of our guys carried and used them for CQB. I know you've had your share of that.

what era these were made 30's - 40's or later just so I know.

From what I can find they're collectable. And seeming a bit scarce as I can't find any for sale. 1878 Pooler & Jones Boss Cartridge Ammo Belt...
