Why am I a sucker for destressed firearms - Rescue Gun

I don't know why I can't resist buying firearms that need a little TLC and home that cares. I call this one my "rescue rifle" it looks like whoever owned it before left it in the corner of their bedroom closet and let it rust up. It needs a good cleaning and de-rust treatment to get it in working order but everything is there, headspaces correctly, and has an excellent bore.

It is, yes yet another Remington 721 in 270W made in June of 1953
