    Looks like the standard Sam Browne sword belt seen with the suspenders set you never see. The mag pouch is like the US Cavalry early set. I wonder if this could have been cavalry? They would have had the 1912 swivel holster on one of those sliders. I see this sort of setup for sale at about $500+USD. The holsters go for vast amounts alone. Look up pics of Uniforms of the Mexican Punitive Expedition for some insight.

    As for the 32" waist, my first trip overseas I had a 28" and came back 32". I was 32" for nearly 20 years I guess and steady at 175 Lbs. It took until I was early thirties before I went to a 34" waist. Not much bigger now.
