    No4T transit chest mark

    The transit chest below has just sold on evilbay in the UKicon. Apologies if it's been asked before but what does the "BA5885" stencilled on the chest mean?

    From the edge stamping shown it looks like the chest was manufactured in 1946.

    p.s. it sold for GBP 1420.
