is there a reason you think March/April 44 is when it was made?

I used fellow CCCF member Jack P's (Algorithm) Spread Sheet PDF put together from all know information on known serial numbered Carbines.
I clicked on the closest Rock Ola serial number to yours that had a date.
Be sure to read the Spread Sheet on how the Data is collected.
