Another early Winchester M1 rifle

This rifle came from California over twenty years ago, also with original barrel. The barrel is without any import stamps and with a bright bore - but T.E. of 6.0, fired alot but taken care of too. The bolt still had the found firing pin. A certain amount of careful restoration completed the project as a mid 1941 era rifle. Also of interest is that two friends also have Winchesters within a few digits of my serial number range. Stock could be either WRA RS or WRA double box WB cartouche for this period, the stock is a WRA RS with deep notches cut into the left side.
