9 to 12 months ago i posted pictures of a underwood that has been in my family since 43.it was complete less the stock and hand gaurd, since then, i did my research ,and found many many wonder friends from Jouster, one in particular,Paul Imbruglia. many know him as PBI on here(he also hosted the birmington show). After i posted the pics wondering what it was worth without a stock, i got bombarded with emails from collectors wanting to buy it, offers ranging from 300 to 1900.
One was Paul. After talking to him, he told me that he had a stock that is the perfect mate for the rifle i had but he convinced me to keep it. After all ,it was a family heirloom.(ya see ,my grandfather worked for underwood during the war). i finally paid of the stock last month and was itching to post pics of it complete, but i had serious focusing issues with my camera,i took 50 or so, and only a few came out good. in my opinion, the picture do not do this rifle justice.
Paul, thank you very much,it will continue to be a family heirloom for many generations, or until the liberals pry it from my dead fist. THANK YOU !
