If you are referring to JMB probably not. When the Frenchicon asked FN for 15 (iirc) rounds of 9mm Para, JMB told them they didn't need more than 8 rounds.

Sauve was the designer of the double stack single feed mag we have in the High Power today.

As an aside, the ergonomics of the 1911 and High Power owe very little to JMB.- un-named US Cavalry officers and Colt designers should get the actual credit.
