    Mystery Canadian Transit Chest Maker

    Greetings All

A new to me transit chest arrived yesterday with manufacturer's marks I have never seen. The chest appears to have been partially stripped resulting in the hard-to-read markings being even harder but it appears to be "KML" over "1946".

Two photos are attached one original and one with a filter. Before anyone asks, yes it is a Canadianicon manufactured chest not just a Canadian property marked example. Hinges, carry strap and interior color/colour are all Canadian.

    Any clues on KML??
