Hi again, just pulled out my 1903 SwedishMauser Carbine from the safe and contemplating some items.
Unfortunately the rifle was sporterized, the forstock and front sight guard was removed.
The stock does not have inletted spot for a disc on the side of the stock. There is evidence of a stock disc that was present on top of the comb. Anyone aware of the significance of this location vs the side of the stock?
Also, considering a restoration... looking for the following, if anyone can advise:
- full replacement stock M94
- all front sight guard hardware for M94 version
- sling + buckle
Thanks!
