Had my APRS out of the safe today for shot at 300 meters which I did after having a go with my 6.5 x 284 which had some very funny shots happen.
I'm putting the couple of flyers that were 100 fps faster and a couple of low ones to the powder.
It's N165 Vihtavuori that has been opened & half full for 8-9 years in my room anyway dropped 7 points so meh it is what it is.
I had one application from my APRS 308 10 scoring shots bi-pod, back rest is a sock full of garnet and scope set to 25 power as that is the rule for the scope power setting.
With it's load that APRS gave me it poked in a respectable 50 with 6 X's out of a possible 50 10 X's below are the targets specifications.
The ISSF 300 metre target, which is used worldwide has an aiming mark 600mm in diameter. The x ring is 50mm in diameter and the 5 ring is 100mm in diameter.
So it equates to 10 rounds in a 100mm with 6 being within 50mm I'm pretty stoked.
The best I've done was last year 17/09/2023 at 400 meters shooting 100 with 17 X's out of a possible 100 with 20 X's man this rifle is very accurate.
Also a Fig 12 I shot at 100 meters 5 shots with bi-pod no back bag very nice cluster just a tad over 23mm.
