The receiver is marked “G41 duv 43 1103a”. This particular rifle is equipped with scope rails. This was the first German WWII semiautomatiic rifle placed into mass production. These are difficult to find in any condition, and this one is somewhere in the very good/excellent condition category. These rifles are almost impossible to find in this condition. It has been duffle bag cut underneath the front band, this in the only apology for the rifle. The metal is in excellent condition with the bluing turning brown at some highpoints. The stock is in excellent condition (except for a few handling marks). The stock has never been sanded. Everything matches, including the stock. I hate to part with this rifle, it is one of the nicest G41’s that I have ever seen. Keep watching this site, I’ll be selling other German WWII weapons.
