Replacing Wood Furniture on No4 MK2

    Hi all,

This is my first post to this forum, so hello everyone!

I have just purchased a brand new old stock wood-set for my No4 MK2. I want to know if you consider replacing the woodwork on my rifle a job I could complete myself, or best performed by a professional? I have restored wood work on shotguns before but I understand that the barrel on the No4 needs to be weighted when reassembling the front hand-guard which makes me a little nervous to tackle this myself.

I live just north of London in the UKicon. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who could swap the wood work for me at a reasonable price?

    Cheers

    Paul.
