    1873 Trapdoor

I am new to Trapdoors so I have some fundamental questions. Today I looked at a Trapdoor that by all appearances is a model1888 according to Flayderman's book (rod bayonet, one-piece triggergard, crisp SWP 1891 cartouche) but the breech is stamped US model 1873. The serial number is 1129XX and the rifle rates a conservative 75%(shiney bore, no pitting, good case hardening, excellent wood). It is a nice clean rifle with little wear. Is this a arsenal rework and what might be an approximate value? What might the informed souls here conjecture about this fine old rifle?
