Back again, I finally got a GI sunshade for the scope.
I am having some trouble figuring out the correct installation of the split ring that came with the shade. The shade itself slides over the front of the scope, no problem, but I am wondering how to utilize the split ring. I suppose it is for locking the shade in place, but I can't figure out how. I feel so damn cautious all the time, and I figured it is always better to ask first, and then do
