    My First Milsurp Rifle

    Howdy Folks, I'm new here and I just was wondering if any of y'all could help me out. I just recently bought a 1939 Mosin Nagant, the marking on it are Izhevsk arsenal marks and other forums that ive been to said that it most likely saw action....I was wondering if there was anyway I could find out for sure if my rifle was actually used in battle? maye the serial number? just Thanks,
