yesterday, after cleaning and redoing the stock on my Sweedish 96 mauser, we went to the range to check out the capabilities of my now favorite milsurp. I had loaded up Nosler 120 gr. hunting bullets, the only kind I had in 120 gr wt. and put 45 grains of IMR 4350 behind it with a large rifle CCI primer. I started at 25 yds, it grouped 1 inch right and 2 inches up. Then at fifty yds. three shots into the same area as 25 yds., then to 100yds. and this dang gun just kept putting the bullets in the same area, five shot group measuring 1.5 inches and just right of center bull and up 2 inches. this all thru the standard metal sights. I have to say this old Sweed is a shooter. I have never shot an easier to shoot large caliber gun, and what a group it shot. So, can anyone tell me how to get the sights centered and how to do it? thanks, duggaboy
