stevens 77E

My Stevens 77E. Vietnam Era Trench? Any body have any input on the worth of this gun? I believe the stock is a replacement, recoil pad looks to have been removed once or twice. Gun has some wear and tear, but looks even throughout. I know, im still working with the pictures. Would like to see some other 77E's if there are any out there.

Your photos are so small that we cant tell a whole lot. Since you are from SC, I am guessing that you have an x-SC Highway patrol gun. Probably marked SCHD on left side rear of rcvr near the stock. What is the serial number range?
The stock is the short one for Vietnam era 77Es and would be correct.
Most went to Vietnam and never came back, but somewhere around 5,000 of them did not and were spread out to law enforcement agencies like the SCHD that must have got a bunch of them. I saw 10 for sale at one time about 12-14 years ago at a local gunshop and have seen several at local gun shows at good prices.

I know, (Pics) my first upload and cant correct it because of site interaction issue with this computer. Nope, no SCHD on the reciever. it is in the later part of the range, 1643xx if i remember correctly. Good prices?

Believe that the SNs should be between 10892 and 61792 according to an articel I read. Yours does not sound correct for a 77E

I have seen them sell for $500 at shows to $1500 on eBay.
SCHD was stamped very lightly on the right sid near stock,
