Early Inland Carbine - Questions

I'm trying to determine which parts are correct on an an early Inland carbine I'm being offered. The serial number is in the 513,000 range.

First Concern - The barrel has the standard Inland/General Motors markings, but there is no barrel date. It also has P stamped about half way down the barrel. Are these marking correct?

Second Concern - The stock has high wood and the standard IO in the sling channel, and the ordnance escutcheon on the right side, but it has a large P enclosed in a circle on the bottom of the pistol grip. There are no arsenal reworks marks anywhere on the rifle. Is this correct?

Third Concern - The front sight has an S marked behind the blade. Is this correct?

Fourth Concern - The operating rod is the second type and has an I stamped inside. There is P on the outside on the bottom. Is this correct?

All the other parts are Inland. The safety is uncheckered pushbutton, and magazine release is uncheckered. The hammer is the early style. The rear sight is a flip up and is S marked. The bolt is flat topped and marked IO 2.

The P in a circle on the pistol grip is correct for some Inlands the stock is probably correct if it is an I cut. Slide is probably Packard for Inland which is correct. The barrel "P" is as it should be. Can't help with the no year.

Barrel date should be in the 6-43 to 8-43 range and some carbines in the 513XXX range have been known to be transfers to Underwood or spring-tube receivers. Is the recoil spring located in the deep hole in the receiver or in a removable tube?

BTW, I own 513,532 which is a spring-tuber receiver.
