Congrats on the new puppy. I'm at the other end of the spectrum - a 15-year-old cat on his last legs that my oldest daughter is having a hard time accepting that he is seeing his last days.

Not too sure what to say about the slings but it seems from this picture that one cannot use the blanket statement that all WW2 M1icon web slings had the flat buckle vice the ribbed buckle. As with all things like this there can be nuances.
