The fit I mentioned Arado is only HALF the battle. We would see if the rear pad and bracket leg would just nip a cigarette paper between them with the front pad screwed down tight. If it was nipped too tight, it'd rip. Too loose and it'd fall out.

But on top of that, the telescope had to be centered (read making a No4 sniper thread) in the bracket AND collimated with the rifle bore too. Only when all of those criteria are met would it pass the beady eyes of the out inspector.

If your repro fits all these criteria, then not only is it a good one, but it's a LUCKY good one
