What Stevo said. For long range ACOGs are superb. For close in work, they suck.
EoTechs tend to eat batteries and die, sometimes spectacularly at the wrong time. I've had several friends have them shut off mid firefight.
I'm an "Aimpoint *****", i used the M68 (Comp M2) for 3 years on one battery under every weather condition (day, night, 135F to -12F, sand storms, snow, rain, hail) and they keep running.
I have and will continue to trust my life to Aimpoints. Eotechs.....I have a few for evaluational purposes, but I don't really trust them.Information
