Hello all,
I found this excellent site while searching for MP44 loading tools on-line. What an impressive and informative site it is!
I'm a UK
resident actively interested in WW2 Re-enactment, collecting militaria, history of Warfare during the 20th Century.
Firearm ownership is severely restricted here in the UK but, as a Re-enactor, I am permitted to own and use Blank Firing and Replica Firearms.
Replicas allow me to get as close to real weapons as I'm likely to ever get here. I have a large collection of Plug Fire Cartridge Modelguns that are 100% accurate reproductions, the operate and strip as per the real thing. Firing action is replicated by means of re-useable brass cartridges loaded with caps.
I have a preference for Sub Machine Guns, MP40, Thompsons, PPSh-41, STEN, Stirling, M3A1,UZI, and Assault Rifles AK47, M16
series, MP44
My collection includes Semi Auto pistols, Revolvers and Bolt Action Rifles too.
The Modelgun hobby has an enthusiastic following Worldwide and we have our own forums at Free forum : MP40's Modelguns Forum
I'm certain that participation here will be of great help when stripping and tuning my Models.
I'm looking forwards to learning a great deal

Ressearcher new to the Forum!
Hello Everyone:
I am new to the Forum and look forward to meeting new acquaintances. I am a researcher currently attempting to acquire materials and documentation for an upcoming paper to be published in a historical journal. The main area of my interest is small arms/ammunition of the early Cold War years, in particular 1950-1956, with a particular "Canadian" viewpoint. As some of you may be aware, there were a number of influential Canadian small arms/ammunition brokers who operated in Canada
during these formative years, and these individuals, their organizations and their histories are what I am attempting to unravel.
I have been intrigued by some of the postings I have had occasion to read and hope to contact some of you very soon in the hope that you can help. My interest in this subject matter has also got me "hooked" as a collector and I am just in the fledgling stages of building up a collection of small arms ammunition and their containers from this time frame.
I thank the administrators of the forum for letting me join and I look forward to future discourse.
Regards in research - and collecting,
Possumscoob1
