'War' never broke out in the first place - (I know you were joking Phil)

Brian only cleared up the fact there was never a list of published carbine production dates in any 'Carbine Club' newsletter to begin with -

Earlier, in another thread, someone eluded there was a list in the latest Carbine Club newsletter of the production dates, and the wording of the post fueled a decisive situation that never should have started.

Maybe someday, but no time soon.

At this point, I'm not gonna go any further with this reply lest another war gets started.

This I know Phil. To that I say, it is unfortunate. I know that there is no "published" list but I also know there are list and there are a few people that have it.

This has been a very good thread, no war, no fighting, no arguing. What this thread did do, as far as I am concerned, is bring to light that there is more out there that can help collectors. Perhaps some of that information will surface one day. Until then? Be happy with the information we get.

I'm under the impression that this has gone as far as it is going to go.

If the post that is causing consternation was one of mine, I apologize for any misunderstanding. If it was another thread, nevermind.

While TiredRetired is selling popcorn, I'll be selling butter to go with it.
