I have some of the charger clips, but what is the proper way to load them so the rims of the ammunition don't lock when you're trying to load.

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

"DUDUD" (_-_-_) is the "official" way.
Practically, I've found it to make little difference how they're organized. Try different combos in your rifle whilst at the range to see if it shows any functional preference.
I even surveyed a bunch of bandoliers fresh from the tins a while back, and they weren't particularly uniform in how they were loaded.

It has to be said that although they are some different combos that work, there are some that WILL cause jams. Which is why filling chargers the 'correct' way was was drilled into one.
The other drill was to ensure that chargers 'out of the tin' were 'correctly' filled before use because they mostly were not.
