Rusty's TOYS
Here are a few of my TOYS. My carbines, My Colts, one is .223, and the other 7.62x39. Bought the .223 in mid-80's, 7.62x39 from my Dad. The Model A UZI is the one my dad said I was nuts for buying in 1982 for $425.00, until Clinton came along and enacted Ban. Model A's shot up to $5500.00 at that time. My dad told me, I guess you made a good deal, LOL. The prices have settled back now, but I'll just keep and pass along to my Grandson. The way everything is going nowdays, I expect prices will rise again, or they will take them away from us. I hope not. My dad also told me (Son, the more you buy, the more you have to Clean) When he was around I would always give them to him to clean, and he never complained. I miss him, I guess thats why I cater to my Grandson, to teach him values like I grew up with.

Hell, that's not even a few hours of cleaning time.
Buy more guns.

I'm sorry, but that carbine wearing a scope just looks strange to me. I know, the grandson likes it, mine has crazy ideas about what's cool too though. But it don't make him right. I guess after I'm gone, he can fit them the way he wants to, hopefully he'll honor me by keeping them original.

rust glad to hear that your passing your guns and YOUR VALUES onto your grandson. My grandfather is buried in the American Cemetary in Normandy. I do still have my dad and he has passed all his values on to me. I am now in the process of passing them onto my 9 yo son. Nice guns and yes I agree that carb with the scope does look odd.
What make are the carbines? I recently picked up a service grade IBM and Winchester at the CMP
north store.
Thanks for sharing.
