Norton is already installed, will have to check with my computer man to see if that will work together. For now I will just log out. riceone.

Hello Riceone ...
Appreciate the heads up, however, it could be either a false positive from your Anti-virus program (Norton use to be notorious for this), or possibly it's originating from other code you have resident in your computer's memory.
We use virus tools to interrogate the site daily at 4:00 am and have found no problems. In fact, we've never had a problem in four years of operation, however, we have had folks tell us they've gone out to links from our site (ie: some advertisements) and been exposed to a virus.
Just in case, I just ran the entire site through Web Washer and we're clean at this moment, at least as clean as an analysis program that costs $25,000 can assure you.
I did some checking with a friend who deals with virus attacks in his job and he said IE7 has some issues which may be causing it to read some site Java code erroneously, when combined with Norton anti-virus software. I'm not sure if you use either or both of these, but I thought I'd mention it.
I'd recommend you CLEAR all your cookies and if that doesn't work, you should run your machine through an anti-spyware program such as XoftSpySE (click here)
Again, thank you very much for reporting this, as it may help others with similar problems ....
Regards,
Badger

Jerry, the Norton and the AVG will work fine did well on XP Professional. Vista wouldn't support the Norton Corporate i have but it loves the AVG 8.0 and best of all it's FREE!! as another poster stated good stuff.

..
I must offer a different story. I used AVG for years, and kept it updated daily. They missed a big virus that wiped out my laptop. Fried it good. Cost more to get it fixed than a new one.
I'm using AVAST right now, we'll see. But watch out on AVG.

There are spammers at another militaria site I frequent that are sending emails or PMs with this same message, and 'advising' you to click on a link they provide. Don't do it.
