I saw images of Great War's lost generation preparing to head off to the Western Front - captured by the UKicon's first female Press photographer
This brought tears to my eyes, all these young men, exactly like our relatives- most perished in the slaughter of the battlefield & their families had to struggle without them...War is hell. I'm always grateful to these souls who gave their todays for our tomorrows.
