    The only reason an A3 should not fit into an 03 stock is because of the hand guard retaining ring. You did say “sporter”, right?? I am assuming that means your A3’s hand guard ring has already been removed. So your A3 should fit into a 03 stock. Now, I am not saying it will be a ‘dropin’ , but with a little work it will fit. As far as that goes,, an A3 WITH the hand guard retaining ring will fit into M1903’s stock with a little work.

    The person you spoke with should know that. A suggestion, the owner/manager should know how well his employees communicate with his customers, little things like this can give the company a bad reputation and cause a loss in sales. Call back, if you can, talk to the same sales rep, try once more, it you do not get a sensible answer, ask to speak to the owner/manager and be blunt, he/she needs to know, stuff like this can kill a business.

    You could email your question to them.
    I would go for the walnut and avoid the laminates, I think.
    Don't think phone or email will be much different in the speed of filling your order. Did notice a 10-day back order for the walnut stocks.

    Well I got my Boyds Stock in Pepper Laminate.
    Boy Howdy did it need Work
    I should have took more Pics of before
    Anyway the inletting was terrible, took alot of work all over the inside.
    Also where the Floor metal goes it was to deep, so I had to remove wood underneith.
    Got all the inletting done and I'm in the process of bedding it.
    After that will come the final Sand and Tung Oil Finish.
    Should be done in about 2-3 Weeks.
    Gotta order more Acraglass Gel

    wow,
    i would have sent it back, and asked for another one..
    the sporter stocks iv got from them were pretty nice,
    some minor fitting, and lots of sanding on the outside, but they came out nice.
    but, my idea of minor fitting and your idea might be far apart:}

    Hey Chuck;
    I would have sent it back, but looked at it as a learning project.
    I have done some minor fitting before, but this was a good learning experience. The outside was pretty good except where the bottom metel goes, I have to sand it down quite abit.
    Anyway once done I think it will be pretty Nice, I'll post Pics when finished.
