My Brother and I had been looking for one for some time.
Now we'll see if we can get one more.

Scope is a Nikko Sterling Japan icon

4x32 with post reticle exactly like that of the No 32 scope.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. That's a good book, although I have found it jumps around a lot and is often hard to find what you're looking for. It almost appears like it's several books glued together. How have you found it?

Is there a "CRB" marking on the knoxform anywhere?

Book, lots of information, finding what you need when you need is the problem.

No CRB on that portion of the barrel, just the usual proofmarks.
