You have a Colt 1911 Barrel and depending on the arrangement of the HP, it could be any one of about three different configurations. These three different barrels would each be at a different serial number range.

If you go to http://www.coolgunsite.com and check out the different barrels for comparison, I'm sure that you can narrow your barrel down to the exact vintage.
