CMP has Carbine Oilers
Just a heads up. On the e-store site under parts IIRC. Purchased 5 for myself "Good Used" variety @ $4.50 each. These mostly have manf. stamps. They list new ones that don't. Didn't bother to check the poor category.

The $3.00 oilers sound like crap.
The $4.50 oilers sound well used.
And they say Many may have manufacturer's code on the bottom. You could get all IS or all coded or a combination. Deal, maybe.
If someone buys some I am sure we all would be interested in seeing what kind of condition and makers someone may have gotten. I know I would.
Here is their descriptions:
Item ID: PS112
Description: Carbine Oiler, Bad
These oilers will generally be complete but will vary
greatly in appearance; they may have rust, pitting, heavy
wear or minor damage. The cap threads may be damaged. Many
may have manufacturer's code on the bottom.
We cannot honor requests for specific codes.
$3.00 ea + S&H
Item ID: PS111
Description: Carbine Oilers, Good Used
These oilers are used with finish and wear; they are complete, and many will have their manufacturer's code on the bottom.

$4.50 ea + S&H

Description: Carbine Oilers, New
These oilers are like new and have a nice blued finish;
there are no markings on them. $5.50 ea + S&H

I went with the Good condition.... yea, I may end up with used "IS" oilers, but I am sure they will match the wear on some of my carbines.... Guess its a good price if they come with the fiber o ring

"New Carbine Oilers:

I hafta wonder if these are more of the "Commercial Sling / Oiler" sets CMP offered last year.
Waiting for a few pictures to appear here!
Then maybe Bill Ricca will chime in to tell us what we're buying there.

"Good Used" are no longer in the e-store. Go figure.

I'm not surprised. The e-store site was horribly bogged down as soon as they became available. Plus probably nobody bought just one. I'm guilty of ordering five myself and I'm sure others ordered a ton figuring they could easily double/triple/quadruple/etc. their money depending on how many oilers they get that are marked other than "IS".
Rest assured that oilers will become quite plentiful on eBay & Gun Broker real soon. Hopefully supply will exceed demand and keep the resale prices reasonable.
