My Dunham's rifle keeps getting more interesting. It is apparently a PU sniper rifle that had the screw holes filled in. I read about them on another site. It also has at least part of its bolt assembly with US inspection marks from New Englandicon Westinghouse. This being in addition to the pre-1928 magazine. There are stampings and markings all over this one and I haven't really started trying to figure out all of them. The stock is also about an inch and a half shorter than my other one, including the handguard. I've found nothing in my book which explains this. It wasn't the butt that was cut but the fore-end, if they were cut, doesn't look like it was and the metal caps are in place on the handguard.

Shame the bolt isn't the original sniper bolt. The trigger creep on this one is nasty. It's going to take some polishing.
