M1 signed by Carbine Williams
While browsing at the gun show the other day, I picked up a nice 6 digit Inland. Guy behind the table stands up right away and says "Now thats one you might or might not be interested in." and kinda grins. I took a closer look and seen that it was signed by Carbine Williams. Can't remember exactly what it said on the right side of the stock, and it was kinda crude lookin, so I said, "Got any documentation on that?" He pulls out a magazine or something and sure enough had pics of the same gun.
Gut told me the story and that there were only a few ever signed, but I can't remember exactly what it was. When he told me the price I kinda stopped listening!
Do any of you know the story I'm referring to?

Well, he said something about it being worth $25 to $30 grand, but he was asking $7,500. I'm no expert on carbines, but I doubt it's worth that much. Either way, too much for my wallet.
Can't remember the name of the guy it was presented to and why?

there was someone who posted on here a while back, who claimed to be carbine Williams grand daughter's husband, he showed a lot of t-3 receivers and other highly collectable carbine items.....all claimed to be from the estate of CW himself..........I wonder what ever came of that ???
