    New Member Reporting for Duty

Hello all. Looks like you have another new member on your hands. I am in southern california and enjoy shooting like all of you here. My wife likes the fact that I have a passion that keeps me out of the way and out of the house. I picked up my first M14icon in basic at Ft. Campbell, KY a few years ago and I finally got around and bought one (M1-A) a couple of weeks ago. Don't really know why I waited so long. Anyway I'll pop up from time to time so have a good weekend out there.

    Just saying Hi

I'm not what you would call a Gun Nut, but I do have an interest in the Bren Gun and one or two other weapon systems. I have been working with weapon parts and accessories for over 20 years and still obtain a few bits now and then through my work.

Anyway I hear you're all a good bunch and look forward to chating to a few of you in due course.

    Cheers

I am new here and I am new to military surplus guns. I've owned a Russianicon SKS for 15 years, or more, but only shot it 5 times, maybe. It is an exceptionally beautiful gun. I am almost certain it had never been shot before I got it. It had never been issued into service. At least that is what I was told. and it looked that way.
For some unknown reason, since November, 2009, I have become infatuated with the Mosin Nagant. I now own a Soviet M44, Izhevsk, 1944. I am still in the process of cleaning it. I have a question about this, but that's for another thread.
    I'm in Texas.

    Hello all.

I've visited a few times, looks like a great site. I have a decent collection of milsurp pieces to include Enfields, Mosins, Mausers, and a few oddballs.

I'm a member of COAR-15, M-14 The Firing Line, 1911Forum, GlockTalk, the 6.5 Grendel forum, and a couple other forum sites, and find them to be great places to exchange info and get to know folks.

I look forward to participating here!

    Hi All!

My name is Marty. New to this forum, I found it mentioned in another forum I read occasionally. Not much of a collector myself but I seem to have several friends who are. They all live out in Internet challanged areas. They're always asking me to try to find something for them. That's how I came across this board. Just wanted to stop by and say HI.

New here with a Enfield No.1 MKIII

A good friend gave me this rifle years ago and I finally got around to looking into what it is. Its a 1916 Enfield No.1 MKIII star, its missing the front nose piece but I was planing on sporterizing it.
