    That was quite a fine gift! What to do with it is easy, if the gunsmith ok's it enjoy shooting one of the finest rifles ever made. If you so desire you can always upgrade the stock to make it look better, the CMPicon has some very nice reproduction stocks for sale. If you like the way it looks just leave it and have fun. Remember, all of the little marks and dings in the stock and the wear on the metal parts all tell a story of what it has been through in it's lifetime. Post some pictures so we can check it out.
