Don't Buy this rear sight remover in E-Bay
I can get it to work, but gonna have to take to machine shop for some mods. Luckily I have a cousin with a big shop. But still a pain in the butt. It is built pretty good, but I think the guy building them mocked it up with flipper sights. Windage knob hangs below the flat of the dovetail on a type 2.

+ 1 STU1! Nothing like the good "old" way! I found this is a combo tool, also works on front sites. Just be slow and careful and a little oil helps.

so i guess the dovetail machined into the receiver is on a little bit of an angle and NOT parallel ?

that looks like the machine riverbank sells.
i bought the one that Dailey (folcmote) sells, and it has worked well, and my thumbs sleep better at night not being afraid of the hammer

Yup, the one from Nick Dailey works very well. It costs, but min risk to boogering the sight or receiver.
