I know that and you know that but I don't need the potential hassle. It's probably being a tad paranoid, but there's just too much to lose if somebody did decide to investigate my collection-it's a big one! So all my semi-autos are "legalized" to comply with the most liberal interpretation of the rules we have to live with. My M1A1icon carbine, for instance, is kept in two separate pieces, the action assembly and the stock assembly are not joined. Dumb, but what're you gonna do!
