    Another to add and confirm. I have a REGULATED BY FULTON marked barrel that also has flat faced muzzle with tiny, tiny chamfer into the bore.

    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. fulton pics

    Here's a couple of pics;
    *the chamfer is so small its hardly visible.
    *Having two accurizers on the one rifle is a big huh?! Perhaps the barrel was regulated and added to a Parkers rifle.
    * and my favorite part, the RNZN, and then there's that big fat round head screw holding it. I have original flush ones but if its good enough for our bouys its good enough for me.

    I have only encountered two rifles with Ball burnished barrels and both of these had their barrels marked by Parker Hale at the muzzle, like the image attached.

    They were a P14 and a SMLE with the nose cap bored out so that the barrel was free floating at the muzzle end.

    Taken from the 1954 Parker Hale catalogue.
