Irwin Pedersen Instant Classic
I'm sure that some of the members of this forum noticed the very nice IP barreled action that sold for around $1850 on GB a few weeks back. Well, I think it has resurfaced (with "original" finish) on GB as "complete and original" for $8500. The reason, I think this is so is that the really nice original and the "new" original shared many of the same markings, I did not record the S/N, that would have verified. What I can't figure out is how the worn military finish healed itself to become factory fresh and original. I think that this seller puts out more "original" IP carbines than the Grand Rapids factory did during the war. Thoughts?

Shhhhh, its a secret.... I know that Santa lives in the North Pole, that Ponce de Leon found the fountain of youth in Florida and that there is a secret stash of carbines, parts and stocks left over from WWII which was found in warehouse near a river in california.....
I know its true because the Easter Bunny told me....

It's good to get the word out about this guy to newbies in the hobby. I had it out with him 10 years ago, and to get his "revenge" he proceeded to post using my name on other forums talking all kinds of junk, he is one of the reasons I have been out of this hobby for almost 10 years.

The $8500 "Special" on GB is not the same one that someone bought for $1825 the other week. I was bidding on that IP (and lost) and I saved the serial number from the pics. I can see from the pics posted by California George, it is not the same IP.
