Scoped M1917

Shot my scoped 1917 today.We have an 8"x12" steel at 530 yrds.I hit pretty close all around it,within a foot or so,would that be descent accuracy for a 1917?

Not really. That size, 8x12", is about the kill zone on a standing man. You should've hit it every time. You need practice.
