stolen carbine serial numbers
here is a link to a sight i go to every now and then. someone posted a copy of weapons stolen from a depot back in the fifties. 1911's, carbines etc..
i dont know if everyone can see the posts, you might have to join forum , its free and well worth it !

That's a great forum.
I was able to get help from members there that ID'd the Shoulder Sleeve patches in this picture of my father. Also led to where I could buy a pair.

I didn't mean to get us so off topic.... but here goes,
The shoulder patch is the same as a ID card he had.
The emblem stands for.......
US Forces Western Pacific Insignia.
I managed to find 2 of the shoulder sleeve patches and later found the Games medal he won from boxing mixed in with his dog tags and other misc medals.
